Josh and I (Daddy) often make a trip out to the Bermuda Gold Academy to smack a few golf balls and, if time permits, we play a round of mini-golf as well. Josh had received a new golf bag and some with some swanky new clubs from friends for his birthday, you can see him happily toting his backpack-style bag up to the tees at the range. Mom & Ryley were bored this morning, too, so they decided to tag along.
Nothin’ like hitting a few balls on a warm fall day… everyone (except Ryley) took a turn hitting a few.
After hitting two full buckets (Josh usually goes through one bucket on his own), we went down to the putting course. Turns out this was a good day for Mom & Ryley to tag along…
It’s taken a little bit of practise to get Josh used to putting vs. really giving it a smack as he does on the range. Typically the first few holes of the mini-golf consist of me looking for his ball off the side or ends of the course! Today was no exception, but clearly by #4 he had settled down, as he was able to get a hole in one!
It was his first hole in one ever, and the only hole-in-one of the day between the two of us (Jenn didn’t play). Needless to say he was pretty happy about the achievement!
