The social committee at Jenn’s office (headed up by none other than Jenn) organized a night golf mini-tournament at the Southampton Princess golf course this past Friday night. Neither of us have ever been night golfing, I know I for one was looking forward to it! There was a little dinner on the 10th tee box beforehand while we were waiting for it to get dark.
This (below) was pretty much all you could see out there on this moonless night – but we were all equipped with flashlights and lots of glowing and flashing thingys so it was all good. The golf balls were really cool – apparently in years past you had to get a little glow stick and put it inside the ball, but now they have electronic / LED balls that light up and stay lit for up to 10 minutes when you drop them or hit them… very cool indeed.
We were therefore inspired to steal a few of the golf balls to bring home for Josh and Ryley, we did our own little ‘night golfing’ with the kids in the yard the night after Jenn’s work function. Of course, I had to take the opportunity to mess around with the camera… there was more goofing around than golfing as you would expect, I got some interesting photos!
A good way to study the trajectory of your shots!
Jenn cleverly spelled out “Hi”, without linking the letters!
