The kids’ school put on a show at City Hall this past weekend, and what a show it was! Josh and Ryley both had a few dance numbers to perform, Josh had about six performances while Ryley had about three or so. They were all so-o-o-o good! All the kids were so cute of course, but I think Josh really stole the show (so says a few other parents that were at the show as well!)
Josh’s best performance was a number called ‘Chinese Dance’, where he did a series of Karate-styled dance moves to the likes of Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” song. It was SO good, he performed admirably, got all the moves down (high kicks and all) – Jenn and I were (are!) so proud of him!
Ryley was a star in her own right, doing all the right moves in her dance numbers while most of the other kids were wandering around behind her… it was so cute! We were so proud of her as well!
The “Thriller” dance was especially crowd-pleasing…
…and “Africa” was pretty good, too – both the kids were in that one (although at different times).

“Latin” had the kids in pairs, which was quite cute!
Ryley was good to not get distracted by Jenn and I sitting in the second row… though during the finale she caught sight of me after the dancing was done and called out “Daddy!” and gave a little wave (but didn’t come running!)… what a girl!
Lisa (their former Nanny) was able to come along as well and sit with us, she had a great time watching the kids with us!
After the show, Jenn presented Josh with some Lego and Ryley some flowers after a job well done!!
