Josh & Ryley (& Jenn) were feeling a little restless this afternoon and were needing to burn off some energy, we hadn’t been on an adventure to Spittal Pond for some time, so off we went!
It was a fun afternoon, the weather was ideal, and it was a good spot to practice taking some pictures for me!
Ryley actually asked me if she could pose for this picture (below, left), she went and sat on the rock and asked me to take her picture – so cute!
We saw this mama duck and her babies jumping off a rock into the waves crashing into the shore – Jenn took a personal interest when she thought that one of the babies was getting lost behind some rocks! I thought she was going to jump in after it, but luckily it popped out and found mama duck and they went on their merry way…
It was a good little hike, Josh loved jumping around on all the rocks (and Ryley was having fun trying to follow). We played a little hide-and-seek in the trees at the end, Josh was a good hider!
