We figured we didn’t have enough on the go this summer, so we thought we would up and move to a new house here in Bermuda.  Actually, the reason for the move was to get into a pet-friendly situation as we wouldn’t have been able to have a dog in our place at Spice Hill Road!

This is our first time living on the west side of town (this is our fourth place here on the island), so it’s something a little different for us – traffic is rumored to be better heading into town from this side in the morning, time will tell!  We’re very close to a nice grocery store and town is actually a less-than-10 minute drive on a good day so it’s pretty good.

The kids are now in their own rooms (we’re still trying to get Ryley to sleep all night in her own bed if you can believe it!), we’ve got a nice big yard, a big garage for storage of all our outside ‘stuff’, and it’s a standalone house (as opposed to an attached house or condo) so we can make all sorts of noise if we want – yay!  The owner of the house also owns a landscaping company so there are lots of different flora about the yard which is really nice, and Jenn has some space to attempt growing a vegetable garden (see the big area of dirt below), that should be fun for her and the kids!

There was a potential hurricane blowing through shortly after we moved in (which turned out to be a non-event) so I took a bunch of photos of the outside as I figured lots of it would be blown away!
