Eddie the Elf, our ‘Elf on the Shelf‘, has made his highly-anticipated return this year!  We remembered how he was getting a little mischievous by the end of his stay last December, so we decided to document his hijinks this time around.  He’s quite a character…

(Note: we will try to update this on a daily basis!  Scroll to the bottom to start at the beginning of the month…)

(December 25 – last one!)

Another successful Christmas season for Eddie… complete with the customary ‘snow’ angel.  Until next year…

(December 24)

I suppose he’s hoping for a little snow in Bermuda?

(December 23)

Didn’t want to be left out from the Christmas crafts!  Though we’re not sure why he needed another elf hat…
We also recruited him to bring the kids’ letters to Santa back to the North Pole!

(December 22)

It’s Super Eddie!

(December 21)

I suppose it was bound to happen… he just couldn’t wait until he was back at the North Pole, I guess!

(December 20th)

Traded his mischievous hat for a helpful one today!

(December 19th)

Playin’ some video games with his Lion buddy!

(December 18th)

Today he was feeling adventurous so he decided to install a zip line to the Christmas tree!

(December 17th)

Yes, even Eddie has caught on to this year’s crazy ‘Gagnam Style’ dance!

(December 16th)

Funny guy tore a wheel off the stroller he slept in the night before and fashioned a tire swing out of it… plus he took it upon himself to go into the garage and take out a tire swing we had bought for the kids and hung it in the tree in our front yard!  Busy night.

(December 15th)

I suppose even Elves like to spoon from time to time…

(December 14th)

Little warm in there… maybe not such a – bright – idea?

(December 13th)

Nothing like a little graffiti!

(December 12th)

Nice soft spot to spend the day.

(December 11th)

Guess he liked the Christmas craft / art on the wall – thought he would do one of his own!

(December 10th)

Just hangin’ out on top of the window… and letting the kids know their Santa requests were received (they saw Santa at a Christmas party at Jenn’s office).

(December 9th)

Toilet papering our tree, eh?  Hmm.  Actually looks not too bad?

(December 8th)

He got a hold of some of our art supplies and painted the kids’ noses red during the night!

(December 7th)

 He’s no Rudolph…!

(December 6th)

Thought he would check out Ryley’s nice pink room – he found a cozy spot with some cardboard buddies…

(December 5th)

Decorated the tree yesterday with the help of Josh’s class bear, Barnaby – Eddie thought it was cool to have another similar-sized friend around for the night so they had a little game night!

(December 4th)

Josh added his own ‘thank you’ note to Eddie’s Christmas tree drawing – I think he was bored of seeing our tree with only the lights and no ornaments.

(December 3rd)

He dug in our ornament box (the tree wasn’t decorated yet other than the lights) and found one with a picture of his home in the North Pole he wanted to be sure got put on the tree this year!

(December 2nd)

Not sure how this turned out like he expected… especially when we turned on the fan (on a low setting of course)!

(December 1st)

Looks like he’s back at it this year – and he’s found the Cheerios!
