In his second running race in as many weeks (he ran the Telford Magic Mile recently), Josh strapped on his fastest running shoes and took to the race track! I believe the Dash in the Dark is also a 400m race, but the weather conditions this Friday night were atrocious with very cool temperatures and very high winds! Despite the conditions, he pulled off a 2:03.50 race, which was his fastest yet!
A proper warm-up was essential, especially on a night like tonight!
Some nice strides coming around the last turn – then he saw us watching him and got a burst of energy to blast off to the finish!
Another fine run, he was happy with his performance! Now let’s go home and out of the cold! (Yes, OK, we can concede that we’ve gotten a little soft being here as long as we have been!) ;0)
