Every once in a while, for but a fleeting moment, we get a chance to see how ‘the other half live,’ as the cliche goes.  And also every once in a while, we remember why we hang on to our membership in the Bermuda ‘Meet a Mum‘ association (MAMA).  For some reason, in an uncharacteristic outreach for new members I guess, the Tucker’s Point Club offered a one-month temporary membership to all MAMA members during the month of April.  Sure, it’s not the peak summertime season, but hey – it’s TPC and it’s free!  The membership included all the benefits a typical full member would get – full access to pools, beach club, golf, etc.

We weren’t able to get out for the first few weeks of the offer, and then I was unfortunately unable to make either of the two times Jenn took the kids down (due to me playing roller hockey or something), nor did I get out golfing!  Oh well.  From the pics that Jenn took it would appear that they all had fun with our friends (who I believe also got in on the MAMA deal)!

Enjoying the heated pool up at the hotel…

…and making good use of the Beach Club as well!

Luckily we have some friends who are new members this year – I guess we’ll have to be extra nice to them this summer… ;0)
