Grandma Boys is down here for a visit, the kids’ crafty Grandma always has a few tricks up her sleeve for various things. Jenn had been talking about trying to make a ‘super bubble’ solution to play with (I mean, for the kids to play with of course), but we couldn’t locate a few key ingredients that, according to the internet, were essential in making long-lasting super bubbles. Luckily, Grandma was able to locate said secret ingredients in Canada and brought them with her, along with her secret recipe from when Jenn was little.
We had some friends over for a BBQ one night last week, and the kids (or rather, ahem, the ‘big kids’) tried making some bubbles with some success!
Everyone had fun playing with the bubbles… the adults making them and the kids (and Cooper) popping them of course.
We tried a slightly modified recipe tonight with slightly better results, seems there are a few tricks to making big bubbles that we have yet to learn! Jenn and Grandma sure got some good ones, though.
It’s amazing how much fun one can have with a few bubbles!
