Ladies & Gentlemen, boys and girls… time once again for a BBA original production!  This time around it was called “BBA on Broadway” and featured numbers from popular musicals new and old.  The kids were all pretty cute, it was probably one of their best shows so far in my opinion!  Nana and Papa had also just arrived just a few days before so they were able to see Ryley perform in person.

As always, the music was really good – they always manage to work in some hip-hop / dance type music to get the kids and crowd into it.  The older kids always come to perform for sure, it’s all quite entertaining.

The smaller kids don’t have as many numbers as the bigger kids, so Ryley was in just two of the main numbers during the show, but she was so adorable!  The first one for her was “Singin’ in the Rain”, which she liked to practice at home with any umbrella she could get her hands on…

I think she was used to us sitting front and center – we unfortunately couldn’t get there this time as it was ‘first come first serve’ during this show so there was a mad rush through the doors to get seats.  (There weren’t any ‘savesies’ allowed, we had some friends and Nana & Papa with us, we couldn’t get 9 or 10 seats there at the front.)  Ryley seemed to scan the crowd from time to time, I think she was looking for us!  She wasn’t too distracted from her task at hand, however, and did a great job dancing and twirling her umbrella!

Then there was “Sister Act”… Ryley looking so cute in here little nun’s habit with her friend Meera.

Love the finger wag…!

The end of the school year show is also graduation for the older kids who are moving on to ‘big school’ in the fall… of course they have the sappy music and the whole little slideshow with photos of the graduates.  Very well done!

I think there’s like a billion kids going to the school now…!  ;0)

Here’s Ryley, scanning the crowd again at the end of the show… and success!  She found us and gave a big smile and a wave!

Another great production by the BBA, looking forward to the next one (only two left for us now, Ryley will be graduating next year)!
