Our Saturdays during the first half of the school year are pretty busy, I take Josh to soccer and hockey while Jenn takes Ryley to gymnastics and ballet class. Today is the last day of hockey and soccer for this season, so I thought I would share a few pics from Josh’s sports over the last few months!
Soccer is probably Josh’s favorite sport to play these days, seems every year he improves a lot and he really has fun… thanks to coach Nic for another great year!
GO-O-O-O-O-AL!
I don’t think he likes hockey quite as much as soccer, likely due to them having to actually learn to skate and practice things like crossovers (oh no!!). But his skating and other hockey skills are coming along, I’m sure next year he’ll move up to the next level where they get to play some actual games. He likes to hang back in the play a bit when they scrimmage and he’s getting quite a shot… he loves the slap shot (!) – I think with a little improvement in his technique he can really develop a howitzer! At any rate it looks like I’ve got a stay-at-home ‘D’ man for now… ;0)
