I thought I’d up the ante this year when it came to carving the pumpkins – luckily I convinced Josh to go with a nice simple pattern, so I could put a little elbow grease into the ‘Hello Kitty’ design Ryley spotted while we were looking on the computer. Let’s just say a power drill is the way to go… that pumpkin was like buttah.

Before the kids got to do their trick-or-treating around our neighborhood, the kind folks at Lancashire had arranged for their annual kids’ party; the kids came out in full force!
A few of the families came by our place afterwards for a few beers and to take the kids out around the neighborhood to do their trick-or-treating for the night.

Party central! I was kept busy at our house handing out candy so I didn’t get to make the rounds this year, but after making the rounds of the neighborhood Jenn reported that our place was easily the most festive…

Of course, here are our little characters… Josh, the Ninja, and Ryley, the boxer.

Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!!
