Alright!  It’s sports day at Warwick Academy, on this nice warm and sunny Friday afternoon!  While Josh had a few years’ experience under his belt with these things, this was Ryley’s first sports day at Warwick Academy – they were both excited!

Jenn unfortunately was away in London for work, so I did my best to get pictures of both the kids – it was hard at times as often they were an opposite ends of the field at nearly the same time!

It’s always fun to see all the kids together in their house colors… can you spot the Ryley Roo in the crowd?

There were seven events that everyone took part in: the 100m dash (actually 60m), the egg and spoon race, the waiter race (carrying trays of water in cups), a sack race, the bean bag race (a shuttle run), the fun run (putting on clothes as you run along), and the t-ball challenge (hitting a ball on the 1st try, furthest wins).

Love this picture!

There were some close finishes, both Josh and Ryley had a great day and did really well!  They both ended up with three first place finishes with some seconds and thirds in there – but most importantly there were lots of smiles and fun!

Way to go, guys!  Until next sports day…
