Well, there we have it – school’s officially out for summer! In typical fashion, the kids were let out at lunchtime today so I took a half day off work to hang out with the little rug rats. Josh’s buddy Jack and his mom Katherine hung out with us too.
Of course, it’s pretty much tradition to do lunch at the Pickled Onion on the last day of school…
…then take a ferry ride out to Dockyard…
…and finish off the afternoon with a rousing game of mini-golf!

So it’s on to year 4 for Josh (grade 3) and year 2 (grade 1) for Ryley in the fall – but before that, bring on the summer! Here’s to a good one!
