Summer’s nearly here, that means it’s time for the kids’ sports days!  Josh is now in upper primary (not lower, like last year), so the format for his events changed a bit this year.

They have lots of lanes so all the kids (boys / girls, per year) can run an event at once, they were quite efficient at getting through all the events!  Josh did pretty well, but it was a little more difficult to come away with a top prize with so many competitors in each race.  He did his best and had some fun of course so that was super duper.

Ryley, being still in lower primary, had a great time with her friends doing events like the sack race, waiter race, and dress up race!

Grandma Boys watched on as Ryley zipped up and down the field… and was a good person to lean on after a tiring race!

Time for a few photo ops!

The tug of war was pretty entertaining – Ryley managed to get into the front of the line and she really gave it her all!  She was surely instrumental in her team’s victory.

Love the huge exhale at the end – hilarious!  Good job, you kids!
