First Day of Year 1

High School Grad
Well, it’s official – Josh is a high school graduate! 13 years at Warwick Academy, done and dusted. He accomplished much over his school career, and in his final year along with his High School Diploma (International Baccalaureate Individual Subjects), he was the school’s Sports Leader, achieved Second Honors in Academics, Principal’s List in Sport, and he won the Sportsman of the Year award. He also did very well with his volleyball, after a successful tournament in Boston, he won the MVP award for his U18 team.
The graduation ceremony was great, and the families were invited to a reception outside at the school afterwards – a glass of champagne to toast the graduates along with a few more photo opportunities!
And with graduation comes prom as well – Josh had his prom a few days after graduation, he donned his bright blue suit and by his account had a fun evening with his friends!
Ryley also had a year 11 prom this year; many kids go overseas to boarding school after this school year to finish out their school careers, so some of the parents typically organize a prom (pre-prom prom?) so they can all party together one last time before moving away. She’ll get another prom in a few years when she graduates as well.
We took a few photos of the kids during these moments, they look so handsome / beautiful / grown up! Where does the time go…
