A little info.

Situated in Lake Country, British Columbia, our 3/4-acre lot in the Waterside Neighborhood of the Lakestone Development offers a fantastic view of Lake Okanagan. About 5 minutes’ drive to the full-service town of Winfield and about 15-20 minutes to downtown Kelowna, the neighborhood is fortunate to have Lake access and offers the use of the Lake Club, complete with a swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, a gym, and a lounge area.

We chose to use Bellamy Homes for our house build. CEO Les Bellamy has completed many homes in the same Lakestone Waterside Development, we were able to view a few show homes of his and were very pleased with what we saw! This, coupled with his approach to the build (bearing in mind that we would not be there during construction) we were happy to have Les on board for the project. It was scheduled to take about a year; ultimately we are pleased to report that it took almost exactly a year to the day to complete our home, starting from virgin land.

The progress photos taken above and elsewhere on this site are courtesy of the construction photo service, Multivista, who typically upload a batch of photos every 3 or so weeks. It’s been a fantastic service to have; they are very thorough and overall it keeps us in the loop with what is happening on site so we don’t have to bug Les for photos!
